Brandy & Armagnac
Brandy is a spirit that is derived from distilling grapes and the word 'Brandy' itself translates from the Dutch word 'brandewijn', meaning literally 'burnt wine'. It is produced much in the same way as a Whisky with producers and countries varying on use of wooden casks, giving markedly different styles from elegant, refined Cognac to heavy, fruit filled Spanish Brandies. One of our most popular Brandies is the Italian Vecchia Romagna.
