Delivery Questions and Answers
Q- Will there be any price information included within my order?
A- A packing slip will sometimes be placed inside the order giving information on the products and the delivery details. No price details will be put inside the box unless specially requested. Sometimes we will include offers and other promotional material.
Q- Where do I find my VAT receipt?
A- Your VAT receipt will be included as an attachment to your order confirmation. We will not send any VAT receipts within the order, unless requested.
Q- How will my parcel look?
A- We do not brand our boxes so your parcel will arrive in plain packaging. In some circumstances we will choose to send your order direct from our supplier which may include some product branding. If you specifically do not want any branding on your delivery, then please make us aware after your order has been placed.
Q- Do I have to order a case of wine to get free shipping?
A- No, in fact there are no restrictions on order quantity. If you wish to apply for free shipping your order must come to £90 or more, and your delivery address must be in mainland UK
Q- Can I put a message in the box if it is a gift?
A- Yes, there is a gift note option within the checkout stage where you can apply a gift note for the entire order.
Q- If I have a refund how long will it take to go back into my account?
A- Most refunds are done the same day, but will take 1-5 working days for your bank to transfer the money back into your account.
Q- If I want to discuss or change my order who do I contact?
A- You can email warehouse@corksout.com.
Q- If I want to return my order how do I go about this?
A- If there is a fault with your order we will have our couriers pick up your order free of charge and at a time that suits you. If you want to return your order for any other reason, please email warehouse@corksout.com to arrange the return. When returning a parcel, we ask that it is sent back in the same packaging it arrived to avoid damage.
Q- What do I do if I was out when the courier tried to deliver?
A- Our courier will leave a calling card to say they attempted delivery, and will try again to deliver the next working day. After the second attempted delivery, your order will be kept 48 hours at your local depot ready for collection. If you want the courier to attempt to deliver it a third time we can arrange this, but an extra courier charge may be incurred.
Q- How will my order be packaged and if it is broken in transit what will happen?
A- Our method of packing is very secure. We use air packing for most of our wines, which are very secure and are often used for international air shipments. In the unlikely event that your wine is damaged, we will arrange to have replacement wine sent out to you as soon as possible. You will not incur any charge unless parcel has been signed for and delivered to the given shipping address.
Q- If I order tasting tickets and vouchers when will they arrive?
A- They should arrive in 7 working days, if you are in a rush for these please let us know and we can try and arrange a quicker delivery for you.
Q- What happens if my wine is corked?
A- Here at Corks Out we understand that some bottles of wine can be corked from time to time. If this is the case please keep the full contents of the bottle and contact us ASAP. We will then arrange for our courier to collect the corked bottle and deliver a new bottle to you free of charge.
