Additional Information
The wine is rich, intense and drenched in dark fruit flavours. A touch of sweet spice, ripe berries, liquorice and chocolate. The wine is full flavoured with supple tannins. This wine is perfectly matched with red meat dishes and rich winter stews.
Located in the heart of the Southern Rhone the sun-drenched hills of Cairanne brings together Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes to create velvety, well-structured and full bodied wines. Boutinot have gone back to the history books and created this wine using classical wine making techniques – indigenous yeasts and long maceration with 22 months in mostly French oak barrels to develop great concentration, complexity and finesse.
