Terms and Conditions

To make a purchase from the Corks Out website you agree to the terms and conditions of the site. We collect personal information to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to us holding personal data about you. We are committed to the data protection act 1998 and the information you give will not be shared with any other company other than ourselves, we are dedicated to the privacy of your information. Age Restriction

In accordance with UK law you must be 18 years or over to place an order with corksout.com. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and all deliveries must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over. Corks Out reserves the right not to accept any orders. 

It is an offence for a person under 18 to buy or attempt to buy alcohol , or for a person over 18 to buy alchol on behlaf of a person who is under 18.

It is a condition of sale that deliveries requiring a signature must be signed for by an adult over 18 years.


Ordering with Corks Out

When ordering with Corks Out, products and vintages are subject to availability and if, for some reason, a product is out of stock we will inform you by e mail or telephone as to its time of availability or a suitable alternative. If the vintage shown is currently unavliable it may be replaced with another vintage.


Security

All information (including credit card details) is sent and received using the latest in secure e-commerce software. We never share any of your details with third party companies.  We will only send you promotional emails if you ask for us to do so.


Free delivery

Free delivery is anywhere in mainland UK*. Your order must be over the advertised value to qualify. The purchase of event and tasting tickets cannot count towards your order value total when qualifying for free delivery. If your order is subject to change for any reason and the order total is lowered below the threshold you will be asked to pay an extra charge for delivery or alternatively you can add to your order.


Delivery

We have a number of different delivery options:


• Free Standard Delivery on orders over £90 - Within 5 working days. (Also on all gift vouchers and tasting tickets)

• Standard Delivery orders under £90 - £5.99 - Within 5 working days.

• Express Delivery £7.99 - Within 3 working days.

• Next Working Day Delivery £15.99- Providing the order is placed by 2pm.

• Next Day AM Delivery £19.99 - Providing the order is placed by 2pm

• Saturday Delivery £15.99 - Providing the order is placed by 2pm Friday


Next working day & Saturday delivery is available, provided your order is placed before the 2 pm deadline. Any orders placed after 2pm and the order date will be considered as the following working day.


Working days are Monday-Friday and do not include Saturday, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

Delivery is made by our nominated carrier who operate a regular service Monday - Friday with an additional charge for Weekend deliveries, no deliveries  on Bank Holidays. 

These delivery costs are for Mainland UK only. Additional costs for Highlands and Islands apply. Please see International Shipping Page on our website for exclusions to Mainland UK.

The courier will endevour deliver between 8am and 6pm.

The courier will attempt delivery however, if you are not there the driver will leave a card (where possible) for you to arrange a more convenient delivery time. If this cannot be arranged you will have the option to collect the parcel from the couriers nearest depot (as shown on the card). Please notify the depot within 24 hours of your intention to collect and to arrange a suitable collection date.

After this period your order will be returned to our warehouse at which point we will either:
Refund the cost of goods as paid to you less the cost of your selected delivery option.
Re-deliver your goods at a cost as shown above.

Should you wish to change a delivery address after a parcel has been dispatched we reserve the right to pass on any additional cost incurred.

Any “Instructions to courier” given to Corks Out whilst placing your order to leave the parcel(s) in a specific location (e.g. “leave in porch”) or to leave with a neighbour will be carried out at the customers own risk. Neither Corks Out nor our nominated carrier will be held responsible for the security of the goods following such instructions.

 

Returns

You may return or exchange products, subject to the "cancellation rights" section below, within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Products must be returned in their original packaging. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them. To return products, please contact us on 01928 531886 or email info@corksout.com for further instructions.

 

Breakages

Please check your delivery as soon as possible after it arrives. In the unlikely event your delivery has arrived damaged please contact us on 01928 531886 or email info@corksout.com for further instructions. We may need to ask for proof of damage to be sent for verification.

 

Refunds

On cancellation or return of products, we will make a refund to you of the full value of the payment made to us, excluding delivery charges, where applicable. A refund of the original delivery charge will be given (if applicable) in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods or if your order is cancelled within 7 (seven) working days from the day after which you have received the goods.

Where you paid for products by payment card, refunds will be made by re-crediting your payment card account from which the money was originally debited. All refunds will be made within 30 working days.

 

Faulty products and damaged goods

If the wine is corked, oxidised or appears otherwise out of condition, provided it is still within the recommended drink date and has been stored in suitable conditions, we will arrange to replace the faulty bottle(s) or offer a refund as appropriate. We reserve the right to collect faulty bottles for inspection so please retain them where possible.

 

Cancellations

You may cancel your order for any reason whatsoever at any time up to 14 working days from the day after the date you receive your wine, provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact.

In order to cancel your order you must call us on 01928 531886 or email info@corksout.com

You must inform us of your decision to cancel your purchase by a clear statement, including details of your name, address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address.

We shall reimburse the price of the wine within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation. It is your responsibility to hold onto the wine and take reasonable care of it until we come to collect it.

If you wish to cancel your order if your wine is not damaged , corked or undrinkable we ask for you to arrange to return the order in it's orginal packaging and well secured, we cannot be held reponsable for the return of goods. 

 

Online Offers

We are always seeking to offer value to our customers. As a result we may offer online discounts or other savings on products compared to the prices in our stores. These discounted prices are for online sales only and are not available in our stores.

We reserve the right to remove any sale items or offers at any time.

We reserve the right to terminate discount codes at any time.
