Offering toffee, vanilla, over-ripe banana, raisins and fruit cake on the nose with a medium bodied palate of chocolate orange, caramel, ginger snaps, and banana. The finish provides natural caramel, sugary milky coffee and sweet ginger. The fruit cake flavours linger, with clove, rum 'n' raisin ice cream and marmalade.

The D'Aguiar Family has been in business in Guyana for over 150 years and have been making fine Guyanese rums since the 1840's when Jose Gomes D'Aguiar, the founder of the company started a Rum Business.

Over the years the Company's rums have been awarded many accolades including three outstanding awards at the International Wine and Spirits Competition for it's Ten year old rum and XM VXO, a double gold medal and a bronze award respectively.

A popular Demerara rum famous for its unique smoothness, bouquet and aroma derived from fruits within the formulation which has been a closely guarded secret of the company for decades. Rums aged for 7 years in sherry wine barrels are sampled and only the choicest casks are selected for blending as XM VXO 7 year old. This secret blending process creates a rum of exceptional mellowness with a smooth yet distinctive flavour.
