This blend of Chenin Blanc grapes from 2 top producers in the Loire was first produced in 2003 in order to satisfy demand for top class Vouvray. Whilst grapes were initially sourced from 1 producer, the desire to create an intense, elegant and balanced wine has led to this collaboration.

A delicious off-dry style of Chenin Blanc with honeyed, nutty aromas. On the palate lush fruit and minerality are balanced by a steely backbone of acidity. The wine has a long rich finish. Will cellar brilliantly for as many as ten years, becoming even more concentrated and fine. The perfect companion to barbecued fish and prawns and, best of all, oriental food such as Thai, sushi, and mild tandoori fish dishes.

Product Reviews

  1. Vouvray is under-rated!

Posted by Ed - Stamford on 9th Nov 2010

More people should be drinking Vouvray and this wine shows why - lovely baked apple character, slightly honeyed. Not at all dry, but still refreshing and intense - would be fantastic with a curry. And as its not a 'trendy' wine, its really good value....

  2. Great with thai and chinese

I'm not really into off dry wine but one of my friends bought this wine as we were having a chinese and it went brilliantly with the gently spiced food we had.
