From Luján de Cuyo in Mendoza, this wine is the product of alluvial soils, and a dry continental climate ideal for the sunlight exposure necessary for ripening. Fermented for 15 days in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, and a further 5 in the bottle. Trivento Malbec Reserve is deep red in aspect with vigorous purple notes. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red cherry and strawberry fruit, with some oaky notes of creamy coffee and chocolate. Full bodied and velvety on the palate, with fleshy tannins and mature red berry and dark fruit, with some notes of vanilla and smoke on the long, lingering finish.

Argentina has benefited enormously from the influx of investment and expertise - seemingly from every famous wine region in the world – combined with modern technology and better vineyard management and winemaking techniques.
