Based in the village of Crezancy, 7 kilometres from Sancerre, this 18 hectare estate has been producing wine for nine generations. Winemaker, David Sautereau, now runs the operation with its vineyards spread over the villages of Crezancy, Bue and Sancerre. He combines traditional and modern wine making practises to show the Sancerre terroir at its best. Cool fermentation preserves the natural fruit characteristics of the Pinot Noir whilst three months lees ageing imparts extra complexity and richness. The wine is stored in stainless steel and bottled six months after harvest to ensure extra freshness.
