Runamok Shiraz 2011

An extensive search of Australian Shiraz at Corks Out lead us to this little gem of a wine, which shows classy aromas of dark berries and sweet oak. The oak aging lends the palate intense eucalyptus and menthol highlights which lift the rich fruit flavours and balance the spicy tannins nicely. A fantastic everyday drinker, but with enough character to work with barbequed chicken or tuna loins.
