Brick red colour, with aromas of forest floor and bramble fruit, leading to a vibrant, refreshing palate with some notes of cloves, subtle spice and red fruit character. Serve with cured meats, fish and poultry.

Jacky Janodet is one of the most gifted and talented growers in Beaujolais today. He has 7.5 hectares of vineyards including 4 hectares in the commune of Romanéche-Thorins at Moulin á Vent. Some of the vines are 80 years old. Fermentation is in lined concrete vats and the wines are matured in small 215-litre barrels prior to bottling the following Spring.

Jacky produces sumptuous, deeply, coloured wines which are always lush and seductive but have a firm structure and benefit from bottle ageing.
