Jacky Janodet is one of the most gifted and talented growers in Beaujolais today. He has 7.5 hectares of vineyards including 4 hectares in the commune of Romanéche-Thorins at Moulin á Vent. Some of the vines are 80 years old. Fermentation is in lined concrete vats and the wines are matured in small 215-litre barrels prior to bottling the following Spring.
Jacky produces sumptuous, deeply, coloured wines which are always lush and seductive but have a firm structure and benefit from bottle ageing.
