Montes Sauvignon Blanc 2010 has a full, intense gooseberry nose. Ripe, quite sweet, semi-peachy palate is rich grassy and fruity.

Montes was created in 1988 by four prominent figures in the Chilean wine industry who wished to establish a boutique winery producing small quantities of high quality wines largely for export. Initially, all the fruit came from the Montes estate and the Los Nogales farm. The operation immediately successful and demand quickly outstripped supply.
