The roots of the winery go all the way back to Cariñena in 1903, the year it was founded by Ignacio Marin.
Since then, the successive generations of the family have dedicated all their knowledge and experience to a highly considered work process that begins in the vineyard, situated in the heart of the D.O. Cariñena with an average altitude of 600 metros, within the geographical influence area of the Ebro Valley, which houses several of the main Spanish wine DO.
Loose, fairly stony soils, with a Mediterranean climate but also with an important thermal variation between night and day, healthy aeration and many hours of solarisation, all of which guarantees a correct ripening of the grapes.

This is the by far the best value for an Old Vine grape garnacha I have ever had. It's price all over the world is excellent, it's worth a good £30 and it's always sold under £15. Not to mention that drinking it at the bodega's shop in Cariñena was quite an experience!!!
