Serve with grilled fish, scallops, seafood and soft cheeses.
The Gunderloch estate is located in the small village of Nackenheim, This town is situated on the banks of the River Rhine at the foot of the Rothenburg. Carl Gunderloch, a banker from Mainz, founded the Gunderloch estate in 1890. He bought excellent grand cru vineyard sites, Nackenheim Rothenburg, and became one of the pioneers of quality wine making on the Rhine River. Agnes and Fritz Hasselbach have been managing the 30 acres of vineyards in Nackenheim and Nierstein since 1979 and are the fifth generation owners.
