Full bodied, elegant and fresh, with lemon dominated citrus on the nose, with some underlying minerality, followed by a palate with flavours of orange, butter and a touch of smoke. Pair with poultry, foie gras and cooked fish.

Hunawihr is in the heart of Alsace lying between the villages of Riquewihr and Ribauville, and the Co-operative is very well equipped and produces an excellent range of wines starting with the keenly priced generic Reserve wines and going right through the quality spectrum to Vendanges Tardives. They have a monopoly on the Muehlforst lieu dit and major holdings in two of Hunawihr's Grand Cru vineyards called Rosacker and Froehn. Fine qualities and keen prices are their watchword.
