Pale lemon yellow in aspect, with concentrated aromas of crushed white flowers, coupled with notes of perfume. Slightly off dry on the palate, with prominent flavours of lychee and tropical fruit, supported by sweet spice. Serve as an aperitif, with Asian cuisine, or with soft cheeses.

Hunawihr is in the heart of Alsace lying between the villages of Riquewihr and Ribauville, and the Co-operative is very well equipped and produces an excellent range of wines starting with the keenly priced generic Reserve wines and going right through the quality spectrum to Vendanges Tardives. They have a monopoly on the Muehlforst lieu dit and major holdings in two of Hunawihr's Grand Cru vineyards called Rosacker and Froehn. Fine qualities and keen prices are their watchword.
