Haymans 1820 is the worlds first gin liqueur. The combination of botanicals used in the distillation results in a smooth, clean and refreshing gin with an obvious citrus lilt. However, when combined with the additional sweetness that one would expect from a liqueur, the result is a product with a delicious orange character. It is also an extremely versatile cocktail base spirit. Hayman's has been compared to a traditional style of gin known as Old Tom, which is now extremely rare.

Gin liqueur?!?

This is a crazy little gin, I am shocked that a gin in a liqueur works to be honest but this one does. I think it's because it works really well with ice, so that the sweetness is not too much. Really interesting product which got my creative juices flowing and i often use it in cocktails. I don't know if you are like me, but i love trying out new things and so when i got this as a present i felt compelled to tell the world!!
