Vibrant red in colour, with aromas of dark flowers and earth, followed by a plump, silky palate of crushed red berry fruit offset by a touch of earthy spice, with succulent and ripe mouthfeel set against a gentle tannic structure. Pair with lightly grilled lamb, medium flavoured vegetarian dishes, and creamy cheeses.

Fleurie is perhaps the best known village in the Beaujolais region, and Chateau de Fleuire is arguably the best known wine Chateau, lying at the very heart of the village. Now under the control of Beaujolais experts E Loron et Fils, the wines produced here continue to satisfy the thirst of those who look forward to the release of Beaujolais wines year after year.
