Domaine Dupont lies in the heart of the Pays d’Auge Calvados, the region long considered to produce the best calvados that shows a little extra finesse and delicacy. Etienne Dupont took over the family business in1980 and is today expertly aided by his son, Jerome. Etienne worked hard to improve the orchards and vineyards and went to Cognac to study distillation methods, complimenting the knowledge he had inherited the spirits that are created represent the flavours and ripeness of juicy, rustic apples combined with the mellowness and warmth of a well aged spirit. The VSOP is a perfect representation of the Pays d’Auge style, crisp apple combined with butterscotch and spice.
