Disznoko means "the rock of the wild boar", and this distinctive rock is to be found at the foot of the white pavilion overlooking the vineyards. The Estate was classified as a first growth in 1734, by royal decree. Today it spreads over 150 hectares in a beautiful setting at the southern approaches of the Tokaj wine region. Since 1992, the former splendid past of the Tokaj wines has been revived on the Disznoko estate under the ownership of the French AXA-Millesimes Group (also owner of Chateau Pichon Longueville and Suduiraut).

The true glory of Tokaj is in the Aszu wines. However, with such a supreme maker as Disznoko, this Late Harvest Furmint is a great introduction. The whole story of Tokaji is fascinating - truly one of the great world wines waiting to be rediscovered.
Shining light golden colour. A lot of fruits (apricot, fresh prune, citrus) on the nose together with honey, and wild flowers. Pear, grapefruit and a bit of vanilla in the taste. The acidity is well balanced by its natural sweetness.
