Dark purple, with lighter ruby notes, on the nose this example has aromas of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant, before giving way to those of violet. Powerful, rounded and rich on the palate, flavours of stewed fruits and vanilla are supported by a strong tannic structure. Pair with winter stews and casseroles.
