A small château, owned by Champagne magnate Alain Thienot, Chateau Garreau is based in Cadillac (the town which gave the American car its name) in Bordeaux. Producing young, easy drinking styles of claret of high quality at attractive prices, this example is perfect entry way into the wines of Bordeaux.

Brooding dark fruit and earth on the nose, with firm tannins and acidity on the palate supporting flavours of cloves, cinnamon, blackcurrant and cassis. Match with stews and casseroles.
