The Chase Vodka, was voted the World’s Best Vodka at the San Francisco Spirits Awards in 2010 out of 249 other vodkas on a blind taste test. It also won a double gold award in San Francisco Spirits Awards in 2010.
A wholesome buttery scent on the nose, with a full bodied and creamy texture. Chase Vodka is complex on the palate, with notes of mashed potato and butter, leading onto a slightly smoked almond finish, with a hint of black pepper. Williams Chase is a connoisseur's vodka, so we recommend drinking it straight; either from the freezer and over ice, or (perhaps a little controversial for vodka) drink at room temperature, so the taste and texture can be experienced at their most developed.
Chase, who are well known for making posh crisps have diversified and are producing the first batches of English Potato Vodka. They have invested
in a beautiful distillery with a hand made traditional copper still to ensure the best vodka production, and rather than the industrial scale mass production, they have opted for a more artisan approach. The povenance is very important to them and all the potatoes are grown by them in adjacent fields to the distillery. The result is a vodka with a delicious smooth and creamy taste with a subtle sweetness on the palate.
