The Chablis Sylvain Mosnier Premier Cru Beauroy 2008/9 is  a green/gold colour, with a stylish nose of green apple fruit, supported by tones of chalk and earth. A fresh, easy palate with plenty of green and citrus fruit, leading to a long, zesty finish.

Pair with shrimps, fish and oysters.

Small batch producer Sylvain Mosnier farms 15ha of vineyards spread across the AOCS of Petit Chablis and Chablis, including 3 Premier Cru sites. With the aid of his son Olivier, he makes traditionally styled Chablis, with great intensity of flavour, and true expression of the terroir of the region.

  1. Spring is here, time for Chilled Chablis!

Posted by Gareth Kitson on 24th Mar 2011

I bought this wine following on from Ruth Yates piece in the 'What We’re Drinking' section and from speaking with Hayley Staunton from the Stockton Heath branch.

This is an awesome wine, we had it last night, a nice warm spring evening with our dinner (Grilled Chicken and Salad) and it was perfect. So much so, my girlfriend who typically doesn’t drink wine also wanted a glass!

Will definitely be stocking up ready for sunny BBQ Saturday afternoons!

    Thanks!
    Gaz
