Aviation Gin came about though a collaboration between Lee Medoff and Christain Krogstad of House Spirits Distilling in Portland, Oregon and mixologist Ryan Magarian of Liquid Kitchen, Seattle. Aviation Gin is made in a traditional Dutch style of yesteryear with 100% rye grain neutral spirit and a mix of Juniper, Cardamon, Coriander, Lavender, Anise, Sasparilla, adn dried orange peel. The effect of this approach has been to produce a gin with a full mouth feel, rich earthy palate, and a cool finish. It is excellent when used in cocktails or drunk with a mixer.
