Loading... Please wait...Ancora Sangiovese Puglia 2011 is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, the grape used for Chianti production. A medium bodied, everyday drinking red. With aromas of red berry fruit. Fresh and lively on the palate with a hint of spiciness. Balanced by tangy acidity and soft ripe tannins.
Holds the right amount of acidy to pair with a tomato based pasta sauce also works well with bruschetta and wild Bore meat.
Produced on the Salento peninsula in southern Puglia and only using stainless steel. No wood ageing used.Set up in 2003, Adria Vini owned by Boutinot and Araldica Vini Piemontesi, the leadingco-operative in Piemonte. All aspects of production, from grape harvesting through to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling are overseen by Araldica's Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese. The aim is to produce a range of authentic, well-priced wines from local Italian grape varieties.
