Nugan Estate is the Nugan family’s winery dedicated to producing premium estate grown wines from the family’s vineyards across Australia. Nugan Estate's wines are sourced from the family’s vineyards ensuring they benefit from being estate grown.
Today Nugan Estate owns 590 hectares of vineyards in Australia’s finest wine growing regions of Riverina in New South Wales, King Valley in Victoria and McLaren Vale in South Australia – making them the 18th largest vineyard holders in Australia. In addition, Nugan Estate sources premium quality grape from the renowned Coonawarra region of South Australia.
Nugan Estate’s winery is located at Willbriggie, 30km south of Griffith, in the Riverina. Functional for the 2002 crush, this state of the art facility has the capacity to crush 10,000 tonnes.
Using the best of old world techniques and new world technology, the winery offers a state of the art facility, built for quality wine-making, which allows the wine-making team to combine the latest technology with old and new wine-making practices to ensure Nugan Estate’s wines are of the highest quality.
Brilliant crimson with a youthful purple hue. Lifted red berry aromas with spice, ash and earth notes. A medium bodied wine displaying concentrated sweet berry fruit with spicy, black pepper notes, well integrated oak and supple tannins. Perfect partner with red meat dishes such as peppered beef fillet with fresh asparagus and horseradish cream.
