Domaine Girault is situated in Bué, a small village in the heart of Sancerre. Coming from a long lineage of winegrowers, the current owners are the 8th generation of their family to produce fine Sancerre wines on this site.
A 12ha estate, 75% given over to Sauvignon Blanc and the remainder to Pinot Noir stretches out on the famous slopes of Grand Chemarin, Petit Chemarin and Chêne Marchand, across the villages of Bué, Thauvenay and Vinon.
Brilliant ruby aspect, with rich aromas of red berry fruit and earth, supported by those of vanilla. Full and robust on the palate, with supple tannins and flavours of strawberry and red cherry, with a slight mineral edge. Serve with game, lamb and red meats.
