Meursault is undoubtedly the capital of white Burgundy wines which combine subtlety and strength, flavours of bracken and grilled almond. A single vineyard Meursault from the estate of Genevieve and Veronique Michelot who are ‘purists’ in that they do not blend their different parcels of their vineyards so that the true’terroir’ can show through. ‘Tillets’ is the most vibrant, clean and defined, elegant and pure. Deliciously dry with a nutty, buttery spice this rich wine is unfined and unfiltered and may throw a slight deposit.
