This Sauvignon Blanc is seriously challenging the Kiwis for the title of best value Sauvignon Blanc. This was not something that Spain would have considered 10 years ago, let alone 20. However, with the emergence of the Rueda region for white wines, Spanish Sauvignon and more particularly this one, are now mounting a real challenge. Great varietal character, crisp, herbaceous, touches of blackcurrant leaf, guava and grapefruit all backed up by racy acidity lead to a tongue tinglingly taught finish.
