This is a wonderful AC wine of the Southern Rhone, from the acclaimed producer Chapoutier. It is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Mourvedre, typical grapes of the Southern Rhone. It has a wonderful ruby appearance with a dominance of red stewed fruit, morello cherries and hints of pepper. Candied fruits on the palate leave an elegant, structured, yet soft approachable wine. Serve with pheasant, duck, vegetarian dishes and cheese.
