This wine shows an inky, deep red colour, with a nose of black cherry, briary fruit and dark chocolate. The palate is full bodied, with ripe dark cherry and cassis fruit, supported by subtle vanilla oak and a hint of mocha. Fine, soft tannins provide a long, lingering finish. As with previous vintages, the wine is beautifully balanced and can be enjoyed now, or cellared for 2-3 years.
Serve with hearty beef casserole or rack of lamb.
