With 20cl bottles of Hine Vintages: Grande Champagne 1960 and 1975 and 1983. The quality of this range is excellent and it is classily presented in an attractive wooden box.
1960 - Lively, supple and well balanced, this Grand Champagne of beautiful amber colour reveals a great strength through aromas of leather and spices. Its delicate woody and fresh nutty tones, so typical of very old cognacs, give it a superb harmony. Very long on the palate, it shows a suprisingly aromatic length ending with a pleasant taste of preserved orange peel.
1975 - This very powerful Grand Champagne is dominated by tannins and spices. On the palate, the volume and persistence confirm the first impressions on the nose. A very masculine cognac.
1983 - A particularly rich vintage, this round and balanced cognac has developed its richness from the humid ageing conditions. On the nose, hints of fig, crystallised fruit, gingerbread and honey. This is confirmed on the palate with a long velvety finish.
