The colour is cherry red with vibrant purple hues. On the aroma, ester's of raspberry are evident with complex notes of aniseed and a hint of white pepper in the background. the palate has initial sweet fruit which progresses to the flavour and piquancy of red cherries with underlying characters of rosewater and ainiseed. A savoury seriousos wine with excellent acid balance and clean lingering finish.
