This is a dry, rich wine, which has at least 12 months in oak casks. Brick red in colour, with aromas of sweet vanilla oak and spice whilst maintaining red fruit character. Full bodied and smooth in the mouth, with vibrant red berry fruit flavours, along with notes of coffee and chocolate. Nicely structured, with a long and persistent finish.
Pair with red meat, lamb, game and uncured cheese.
