There have been many excellent vintages in the Rhone Valley over the last few years, however, the 2005 is truly spectacular.
Denis, who succeeded Daniel, his father, more than 10 years ago, is quietly but surely producing some of the best wines in the village. The quality is constant and there is great value through his range. The vinificationa dn ageing of these wines are very classic, in vats and 600 litre old oak barrels. Quite a traditional nose with blueberry and garrigue notes and some excellent Syrah and Grenache fruit. Lovely and ripe and perfect with rich stews.
