A dark plum coloured wine with flavours of ripe berries, vanilla and spice. Good concentration of tangy yet sweet fruit laced with a touch of liquorice on the long finish. Full bodied with pleasing, firm tannins. Ready to drink now, but will age well for another 3 - 5 years.
Perfect with Game or poultry cooked in a rich sauce, ripe soft cheeses such as Camembert
