Produced by Dominique Giruad from her terraced 15ha vineyard in the Villafranchien region of Languedoc-Rousillon, this is an interesting expression of the Merlot varietal from the South of France.
Deep ruby red colour, with aromas of blackcurrant and red berry fruit, with some earthy, forest floor elements. Soft and supple on the palate, with smooth tannins and flavours of strawberry, plum and damson, with some spirit heat detectable on the finish. Serve with red meats and cheeses.
