Leans more towards the Northern Rhone than the Barossa Valley style and flavours. The warm, dry 2005 vintage has given us a substantial wine with a deep black-red colour and bright fruit characters: ripe plum, blackcurrant, aniseed and spice with toasted oak notes in the background. The palate is rich and flavoursome with a persistent, firm finish.
