A fabulous colour for sixteen years of age. Deep and rich, with an earthy density, although obviously it has the hue of maturity. The nose is sweet, meaty, complex, earthy and vegetal, with treacle toffee nuances. It is a little high-toned and lifted, and with time there are notes of leather and cloves too. Full palate, creamy and balanced, with a little spicy grip although otherwise it is completely ready.
