A superb estate in Saint-Émilion is infused with a new life and the passions of two couples and their families: Jess Jackson and his wife Barbara Banke, California visionaries in the world of wine partnered with Bordelais Pierre and Monique Seillan. Pierre Seillan is a recognized vigneron with responsibilities for the new Jackson Wine Estates International vineyards. During all these years under different climates, tracking down the best expressions of grapes and terroirs as different as those of Sonoma, Napa, Tuscany and Bordeaux, they have learned that it is all about precision, from vines to the bottle.

Gascon Pierre Seillan moved from the Bordeaux region to California when he was in his forties. Looking for a new journey, Pierre Seillan joined Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke who gave him the freedom to create new vineyards on the hilltops of the Sonoma Valley and make wines from Bordeaux varietals. Lawyers by profession, Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke had created a highly successful wine business in just twenty years. They first concentrated on California and then extended worldwide - Italy, Chile, Australia. A true visionary, Jess Jackson has always invested in terroirs before creating the brand. Today the Jackson-Banke family is the owner of numerous vineyards which each have their own style and unique character.

Deep ruby in aspect, with aromas of fleshy dark fruit, vanilla oak and cedar wood, leading to a palate of ripe red fruit, chocolate, cassis and tobacco smoke, with moderate acidity and smooth, supple tannins. Pair with red meats and cheese.
