Artazu, a project from the same producer of Artadi, Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle, strives for great quality Grenache. In Navarra, Juan discovered mind-blowing old vineyards and allowed them to fully express their potential for depth and personality at Artazu. The winery and vineyards are located in the most northern zone of Navarra at an altitude ranging from 400 to 600 meters.
From the young vines at the Artazu, the Artazuri Garnacha was an instant hit with consumers and wine critics alike. Easy to drink and suitable for everyday! This is fresh, fruity, and is tannic enough to express the true grape characteristics of Garnacha.
Made from 100% Garnacha, it is dark pink in color and decidedly off dry. It offers up a fragrant nose of kirsch and strawberry. Full-flavored and ripe with crushed red fruit and a fresh finish, this tasty wine should prove to be remarkably food-versatile. Drink it over the next 12-18 months. It is also an excellent value."
