Something new is in the air at Alexkia, even more than the excitement of a new wine estate. This special part of the Western Cape, with it's Mediterranean climate, mild temperatures and winter rainfall, is home to world-famous wines. The Maestroni family hopes to combine the elegance and maturity of the Old World with the accessibility and ease of the New World. Here in the Robertson wine region there is a rich variety of ancient soils and pure mountain water. The Alexkia wines produce wines of rare character and style. Here Franco and Carla Maestroni found their dream and named it after their two beloved granddaughters Alexandra and Chiara. This Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant and full with a deep glowing garnet colour and intriguing hints of mocha and chocolate culminating in a pleasing, lingering finish.
