The Aberfeldy 1989 Connoisseurs Choice is a smooth, balanced whisky displaying a full range of flavours.
The Aberfeldy distillery is settled in the heart of the Grampian mountains and is one of the rare distilleries from the South of the Highlands. It is situated East from the Aberfeldy village and the oldest buildings date back to 1896 and the distillery opened in 1898.
This pale amber whisky has a sweet nose with malt aromas, green apples and cut grass. There is a delicate spiciness with traces of chocolate and hazlenuts. The palate is sweet with an initial smoky note. Some herbal and oak flavours present, it has a smooth body with a spicy oak finish.
