The past 6 years have been amazing for Corks Out in terms of awards, with over 16 in total. Corks Out, was recognised as ‘Best Retailer’ at the Visit Chester & Cheshire awards in 07 & 09 and has won the 'Warrington Business Retailer Award four years running. To add to this there are four national awards in which judges unanimously agreed that Corks Out 'ticked all the boxes' as a specialist Independent wine & spirit merchant.

Corks Out are delighted that they have been nominated and shortlisted for two awards at the International Wine Challenge, which takes place on 7th Sept 2010 at The Hilton, Park Lane, London.
Drinks Business Awards May 2010
Corks Out picked up ‘National Independent Retailer of the Year’ at the Drinks Business Awards ceremony at the London Wine Fair 19th May 2010.
After being nominated Corks Out were praised for their
innovation, service and knowledgeable team - Judges were impressed because of the high level of professionalism, a well thought-through business plan, slick operations and the fact that the Corks Out business punches above its weight.

Drinks Retailing Awards
The winners of the Drinks Retailing Awards 2010 were announced on February 2 at a glittering ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel. The awards were co-hosted by Off Licence News Editor Rosie Davenport and top wine writer Olly Smith. Corks 
Out won the award for Neighbourhood Off-Licence of the year. Corks Out proved that they have worked hard to understand their market and have a service that rises above the norm. To sum up they are an inspiration to the rest of the drinks trade.

Ruth and all her team are delighted to have won the Retailer of the year Award for 2009 for the fourth year running! Ruth was also 'Highly Commended' in the Business Person of the Year award. The Corks Out team are dedicated to being the best in it's field and strive to deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge - we have a true passion for what we do so receiving this award is fantastic!
The judges said it was a firm choice for the prize, they said ' Corks Out continues to be a very strong business in a niche market. They are a significant asset to Warrington.' Ruth was praised by the judges for being a 'consistent and very strong leader in her field'

The ‘National Retail Industry Awards’ was a double win for Corks Out, winning ‘Independent Off Licence of the Year’ whilst Ruth was awarded the coveted title ‘Independent Entrepreneur of the Year’. The Judges unanimously agreed that Corks Out ‘ticked all the boxes’ as a specialist independent wine merchant and were impressed with its outstanding range and service to both local enthusiasts and corporate businesses.

Our awards mean a lot to the Corks Out team and also to the independent wine retail sector as it’s not just about picking a product off a shelf, it’s about service, knowledge of product, passion and enthusiasm from the whole team that make Corks Out stand out above the rest. Service and knowledge is key, something we feel customers rarely get at larger retailers.
