The Billecart Salmon Rose is a pale pink in colour with golden hints, fine delicate bubbles, leading to a persisent mousse. The bouquet is fine and elegant, with ripe strawberries, raspberries and fresh bread. On the palate, it is refined, with prominent fruit flavours, and a long, fresh finish. Best matched with salmon or sushi.
Billecart-Salmon is one of the few Champagne houses that is still owned by the original family. Established in 1818 by Nicolas-François Billecart, most of Champagne Billecart-Salmon's fruit comes from a small vineyard holding, although this is supplemented with grapes bought in from the Marne Valley and the Montagne de Reims. Meticulous production techniques, from the use of their own cultured yeast to its long, slow, cool fermentation, ensure that this is a consistently fine champagne.
Billecart Salmon Champagnes are very popular amongst our customers who want an excellent Brut or Rose champagnes from a traditional Champagne House with values focused on production rather than branding. Billecart Salmon UK offer a range of fine champagnes - these fine champagnes are firm favourites of our team!
